For the most part, this political thriller, a depiction of the capture of the real life super-spy Robert Hanssen, who for more than twenty years sold government secrets to the Soviets and subsequently to the Russians, is a compelling, character-focused, well-made, and excellently acted film, but where it falls down somewhat is in the final act in which everything is tidied up just that little bit too easily.
